We blend storytelling, rhymes, music, movement, and sensory play into one connected, flowing weekly theme. While many programs focus on a single type of activity, ours brings several beautiful elements together in a simple, meaningful way that supports early literacy and connection. Every activity is designed to be fun, engaging, and easy to repeat at home, helping families continue the enjoyment throughout the week and beyond.
-
Our program is designed for babies aged 0 - 2 years, with classes tailored to different developmental stages:
Stationary (Approx 0–8 months)
Crawlers to First Steps (Approx 8–14 months)
Toddlers to Walkers (Approx 14–24 months)
If you're unsure which class is right for your child based on their individual development, please reach out. We're happy to help you find the best fit.
-
All sessions follow the same core content. The only difference is the level of movement in the room and how each baby engages, depending on their stage.
Crawlers can comfortably move between both Stationary and Toddlers sessions, so there is flexibility between these groups. However, Stationary and Toddlers sessions are kept separate to ensure the right environment and safety for these quite different developmental stages.
If naps don’t quite go to plan, feel free to drop me a message and I’ll do my best to fit you into another suitable session that day.
If your baby’s routine or development changes during the term, we can also look at switching your regular session time mid-term on a more permanent basis.
-
Yes! These are truly caregiver-baby classes. We’ll be reading, singing, moving together, and interacting throughout. Everything we do is designed so you can recreate these activities at home. We want the sessions to feel practical and joyful.
-
Just your enthusiasm, a pair of socks, and something comfy to sit on like a blanket. That’s all you need to enjoy the session.
-
Siblings are welcome only if they fit into the same age category for the session (for instance, twins or triplets). This helps keep the class focused and developmentally appropriate.
-
Absolutely! You’re welcome to rotate caregivers week to week. For logistical reasons (space and capacity limits), we kindly request that no more than one caregiver attend an individual session without prior permission. Please contact us to make a request, and we will do our best to accommodate based on the capacity of the class.
-
Each class combines visual and listening stimulation alongside sensory and movement-based activities. Please contact us to discuss your child’s specific needs so you can make an informed decision about suitability. We aim to be as inclusive as possible and will do our best to ensure every child is comfortable and enjoys the session.
-
Our sessions follow a clear and consistent structure each week. The flow remains the same, but the themes, books, songs, rhymes, and activities change weekly to keep things fresh and engaging. There will be music, group singing, and the natural noise of babies and toddlers, but the class is not designed to overstimulate through loud sound.
-
No, not at all 🤍
It’s a lovely way to extend the experience at home and build on the enjoyment from the session, especially as babies really benefit from repetition and familiarity.
That said, it’s absolutely not a requirement. You can fully enjoy the class without the take-home book, and you’re always welcome to use your local library if you’d prefer.
-
All take-home books are brand new and chosen specifically for ages 0–3. If you already own the book, wonderful! It means you’re active readers already. As a company passionate about children’s literacy, we encourage donating or regifting the book to another child: for birthdays, “welcome to the world” celebrations, christenings, Christmas, or similar occasions.
-
Totally fine. Babies and toddlers are unpredictable, and there is no pressure to “perform.” You’re free to feed, cuddle, soothe, let your little one nap or run around. The program is relaxed and a supportive space. Even if your little one sleeps, we hope you still find connection and value.
-
If you or your baby are unwell or away, we unfortunately can’t offer refunds for missed classes. However, if there’s space in another location, let us know, and we’ll do our best to place you there so you don’t miss out entirely.
-
Yes. We offer a 4-Week Explorer Pass, allowing families to experience The Baby Book Club across half of the term (either Weeks 1–4 or Weeks 5–8).
If you’re looking for something more bespoke, please feel free to get in touch, and we’ll do our best to accommodate where possible, subject to availability.
-
If you choose the 4-Week Explorer Pass and decide you’d love to continue, we’ll do our best to accommodate you for the remainder of the term, subject to availability.
-
Your baby’s safety is our top priority. Parents and caregivers must supervise their child at all times during the sessions. We do not leave babies or toddlers unattended. Please remain within arm’s reach and help maintain a safe, calm, and respectful environment for everyone. It is your responsibility to decide whether to participate in activities and to monitor your child's safety throughout.
-
All equipment, books, toys, and sensory materials are cleaned and sanitised after every session. Soft mats and props are washed regularly, creating a safe, hygienic, and comfortable environment for everyone.
-
We do not offer refunds once you’ve enrolled. However, if you miss any sessions and have opted into the take-the-book-home package, we will still send the books to you so your child doesn’t miss out on the reading experience.
