The Baby Book Club provides baby–toddler activity sessions that include storytelling, sensory materials, music, movement, and interactive play. Participation in these activities involves typical early-childhood risks such as slips, trips, falls, bumps, reactions to materials, and general movement-based play. These risks cannot be entirely eliminated, though activities are designed to be age-appropriate and gentle.

Caregiver Responsibility & Supervision
Caregivers must supervise their child at all times. Staff provide guidance but do not provide childcare. Caregivers agree to stay within arm’s reach of their child and ensure their child engages safely, while monitoring wellbeing and behaviour.
Choosing Activities Based on Your Child’s Capabilities
Every child is unique. You will choose activities based on your understanding of your child’s development, abilities, needs, and comfort. Participation in each activity is voluntary, and you may opt your child out at any time.
Activities shown are for inspiration only. If repeated at home, it is the caregiver’s responsibility to ensure safety and suitability. The Baby Book Club is not liable for any outcomes or injuries occurring outside sessions.
Home Use Disclaimer
Caregivers agree they and their child are well enough to participate and will not attend if unwell. Caregivers are responsible for managing allergies, sensitivities, and medical conditions. The environment cannot be guaranteed allergen-free.
Health & Wellness
To the extent permitted under Australian law, caregivers release The Baby Book Club and its staff from liability for injuries or incidents that may occur during normal participation in age appropriate activities, except where such release is not permitted by law.
Release of Liability
Caregivers agree to indemnify The Baby Book Club against claims
or costs arising from their own or their child’s actions during participation.
Indemnification
Caregivers agree to ensure respectful interactions, safe use of materials, and follow reasonable guidance from staff. The Baby Book Club may request participants leave if safety or enjoyment of others is compromised.
